Black Cultural Archives is a heritage museum located in Brixton that showcases the history of Black British culture. In 2021, the museum celebrated its 40th anniversary, and I was commissioned to create a brand identity for the event - the client wanted something bold and colourful which encapsulated Black British history over the last 40 years.
The branding was applied to collateral, including social media posts, the museum vinyl window display and event merchandise.

Date: March 2021

The logo encapsulates Black Power, Afrocentrism, Brixton, and nods to 80s graphics; a tribute to the history of BCA.
