The Fourth Plinth Schools Awards Competition, part of the Mayor of London’s renowned Fourth Plinth Programme, invites students aged 5-15 from across all London boroughs to create artwork inspired by the Plinth commissions.
I developed a fresh brand identity that would feel like a natural evolution of the Schools Awards, which has been running for 15 years. The goal was to create something visually striking, using bright, vibrant colours that stand out in a crowded inbox or among other communications.
Concept
“Gen Z’s art often blends traditional techniques with digital innovation, resulting in thought-provoking and visually captivating creations.” — The S Media
My design concept embraces the contrast between modern and traditional art forms, combining contemporary vector graphics with elements of traditional collage to create a dynamic and engaging visual identity.
